One of my big goals for 2021, is to live in the moment and to transform myself into a better version of myself. Each month, I want to focus on 10 things, which will all hopefully build up to accomplishing my main goal.
- Writing
Ever since I’ve started my blog, I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into meaningful posts such as this one. Writing is such an important tool for everyone, and my aspirations are to become a writer in the future. I’ve slowly turned blogging into a good habit, and I want to stay committed to this. I want to blog daily, write in my gratitude journal and start learning helpful tips to improve my writing skills.
2. Reading
I’ve found that I haven’t been reading as much as I used to, so this month, I want to read 15 new books.
3. Exercising/Jujitsu
Exercising releases dopamine, which is a chemical of “happiness.” I don’t participate in many competitive sports, but I do Jujitsu training for 2 hours on Monday nights. To increase my dopamine levels, I want to play Badminton more often with my friends and family.
4. Involvement
I want to give things a go and get involved in different school activities, sports, and class discussions.
5. Mathematics
Mathematics is definitely not my strong suit, and this month, I want to focus on learning the basic fundamentals for each key area of maths.
6. Practicing Saxophone
I want to practice my instrument for at least 30 minutes every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
7. Spotify Playlists
I want to make 5 new playlists this month, so I can jam to more songs!
8. Photography
Life is flying by so fast, and I want to be able to look back and remember moments of my life. I want to take more photos of my friends and me, and my ever-changing surroundings.
9. Vision Board
I want to create a physical (and if not, a digital) vision board, full of pictures and quotes of my goals, aspirations, aesthetic things, and things/pictures that make me happy.
10. Staying in touch with God
I’ve been praying every night for the past month, and I really want to maintain my connection and strengthen my faith in God this month. I want to attend church at least once a fortnight, and continue to pray every night.
