It’s officially December 2021! It’s insane for me to look back now and realise that 11 months have already flown by, and I’m already preparing to finish 2021 as a Year 9 student.
Last month, I wanted to accomplish the following things:
- exercise everyday (do youtube workouts, jujitsu training, walking to and from school, pe and pass)
- drink a bottle of water every day
- wake up before 7am every day
- start planning christmas gifts + writing cards
- clean my desk once a week
- read 13 books this month (order physical books from my school and local library)
- do weekly reflections
- blog everyday
Things I Actually Accomplished:
- I exercised everyday
- I drank a bottle of water 28 days out of 30
- I woke up before 7am 27 days out of 30
- I read 9 books
- I wrote weekly reflections
- I blogged everyday
Looking back on these goals now, I realise that some of them have become more habitsĀ to me than goals, which is good in a sense. While I do want to keep focusing on building these habits, I don’t think they are my end goal.
One of my New Years Resolutions this year was to become more confident in myself, and prioritise myself, which I think that I have been trying to achieve all these months through these goals.
This month, as I wrap up for 2021, I want to especially focus and reflect on myself and the things that have and haven’t worked for me this year.
December Goals
- Read 9 books
- Partake in some form of exercise everyday
- Drink 1 bottle of water everyday
- Write weekly letters
- Write weekly reflections
- Create an advice/self care jar
