Well well well, another month has flown by! Here’s my monthly reflection for OCTOBER!
My Goals For October:
- Exercise Everyday
- Drink a bottle of water everyday
- Wake Up Before 7am Everyday
- Read Everyday, and Read 12 books in October
- Blogging Daily, and Writing Weekly Reflections
- Spend at least an hour a day with my Family
I kept track of these habits and goals I wanted to accomplish this month using a habit tracker template on Notion.

Overall, I think I stuck to most of my goals pretty well. I did have a few off days, and I struggled with waking up before 7am on some days during online school and on the weekends. I have started waking up even earlier for school at 6:30am, and that has been going pretty well so far.
I also ended up surpassing my reading goal list for October, with a total of 14 books! However, I didn’t end up reading any non-fiction books like I originally planned.
Overall Highlights of This Month:
- going back to face-to-face school again after 17(ish) weeks
- travelling to Sydney to see my family friends (30th & 31st)
- getting full marks for several assessments (design and tech, history, health)
- reading 14 fiction books
- being able to walk with my crush to school
- maintaining a strong connection with my friends and family
I can’t believe that there’s only 2 more months left of 2021! It feels just like yesterday that I was wishing my brother happy birthday, and spending the day with my family on New Years Day.
I guess this really shows how quickly life can go by, and it’s just as important as ever to do the things you need and want to do. Don’t be scared of the consequences – just try and give it a shot. Nothing is going to happen unless you decide you want to do something and actually do it!
Goodbye October 2021, and here I come November!
