Today was the last day of online school!
What should’ve been just a week or two of online school, has now been 14 long weeks. And now we’re finally going back!
Honestly, lockdown this year has been really fun. I learnt a lot from this experience, both about myself and the people around me. I learnt new techniques that I got to apply in my everyday life, learnt how to prioritise myself, and get back into the things I had neglected earlier in the year, like my love for reading.
There were both ups and downs, but I managed to get through it all with a positive mindset for the long run. I’m honestly so proud of myself and my efforts this past term in lockdown, and I’m excited to see how the rest of the term plays out.
However, I know everything could shut down really quickly if there is a positive covid case in our school, so I really want to make the most out of the time I have with my friends at school. I’m not really looking forward to the first week back with assessments and school with all the restrictions, but I’m really excited to just see everyone again and spend time with people.
I hope that in this final portion of the term, I can adjust quickly back into my school routines, and that I can actually apply my new knowledge and techniques in school. I really want to just enjoy the time I have left, and live in the present moment!
