I recently started an online course on EDX called Psychology of Personal Growth. After my identity crisis, I’ve been slowly trying to rebuild my identity and my perspective of myself.
Psychology has always been an area that I’ve been interested in. I give my friends a lot of advice, and it’s helped me learn more about myself and the world around me. I find it interesting learning how the world works and how people change and adjust to their environment because of both social and personal psychology.
Recently I’ve noticed that a few of my friends have been thriving a lot more in their life, and have started making plans and goals for themselves. This made me think about my own life, and what I wanted to achieve for myself. This is why I decided that I would start doing more things for myself including prioritising myself and treating myself like I would treat my best friends. I strongly believe that learning the foundations of the human mind is a great place to start, especially because I’m already very interested in that area.
Hopefully I can start to see some improvement in my life, and I want to keep doing small things for myself so I can better myself as an individual and prepare myself for hardships and challenges in the future. I’ll keep writing about what I’ve learned so far in this course!
