The sun rose and sank, up and below the clouds that had shielded the world from outside. The trees, once drooping and sad were tainted with a golden light.
The day ended with a fire, blossoming from the ashes of the tears of the sun. It’s glow was mesmerising, captivating the soul of the little girl who sat tiredly by her window.
Within the span of 10 minutes, her body was fuelled with a power she hadn’t felt all day. And then 10 minutes later, the sun slipped away, disappearing like it had never existed in the first place.
The sky, once with greys and blues, was now smeared with a pale pinky hue, streaks of yellow in the horizon. But soon, the hallucination disappeared, leaving the world with forgotten stars and it’s black and blues.
