The Handbook on How To Win A Girl’s Heart: Written for Boys Who Don’t Know What They’re Doing
Firstly, there are more than just one way to win a girl’s heart. To win anyone’s heart, it’s important to get to know someone before trying to “make your move” on them.
Personally, I believe that personality is the most important quality of any individual, and everyone has different turn ons, and find certain qualities more attractive than others. That being said, here are 5 ways to win my heart (and possibly the person you have your eyes on too!)
1) Make An Effort
AHHHH I can’t even explain how heartwarming it is when someone actually makes an effort! In today’s day and age, boys think that they’re just going to get whatever they want. Hell nah bruh. Boys, you have got to make an effort. Whether it be:
- good morning/goodnight texts
- talking to her outside of school (both texting and verbally)
- face timing
- getting to know her
- and even simple things such as asking how her day was
Making an effort is important, and very underused.
2) Physical Touch (Love Language)
I don’t know about other people, but my love language is physical touch, meaning that I literally melt when people physically touch me. Find out your partner’s love language, and I assure you, they will start getting butterflies too. Some of my favourite forms of physical touch includes:
- normal hugs
- back hugs
- someone playing/stroking my hair
- holding hands
- rubbing your thumb over my hand
- forehead kisses
3) Show That You Care
Showing you care is also another way to make an effort. By reaching out and doing things for her (if she’s comfortable with it, of course), you can further show her that you care about her. Sometimes people say they care, but girls need constant reassurance and your actions should reflect your feelings.
4) Confidence
Girls like guys who are confident, so talk to her and be open about yourself. Be confident and lead the conversation, but make sure you aren’t too confident, otherwise you can come off as arrogant – and girls don’t like that! Most importantly, make sure you are real with her, and don’t try to be someone you aren’t just to impress someone.
5) Have Good Hygiene
This is very important. Smell is an important sense and a turn on for some people like myself. Make sure you buy yourself a nice smelling deodorant, perfume or cologne, and make sure you put enough on to stay smelling nice throughout the day. However, be careful not to put too much on, as the scent can become very overwhelming and strong.
There is nothing better than when a guy smells good! Girls are very attracted to guys who smell nice, however, they can have different tastes in cologne, so wear something that makes you feel confident yet comfortable.
For me, I especially like the smell of coffee, so I’m more attracted to guys who smell like coffee.
