This is something I only realised just the other day – that we are never going to be “ready.” Ready for a relationship, ready to start a new goal or habit, ready to do just about anything. Instead, not being ready is just an excuse that we give ourselves and put things off.
Everyday is a new day. I strongly believe that we should live each day like there’s no tomorrow, because in reality, tomorrow is never guaranteed. We might be facing hardships now, but that doesn’t mean we’re not ready to do something. Everyday is an opportunity to face our fears, to be vulnerable and open, and instead of taking that opportunity, I bet you that all of us are making excuses on why we can’t do it.
There are many versions of us, but no matter which ones we choose to be or show to others, there are always going to be hardships that’ll come our way. We use these hardships as an excuse to say that we’re not ready to be or do something, and the cycle keeps repeating.
The present is the perfect time to do anything and everything. Take the risk, and just go for it. You never know what’s going to happen!
