Recently, I’ve been extra vary of my habits, and have been trying to make new, good ones. Habits are regular practices that are especially hard to give up or change. Habits become second nature, once you continue to do so for an extended period of time. In a way, you could call them to be ‘normal’ to you. Here are some good habits I’ve picked up –
- Waking up at 6:45 am every day – Having a regular time to wake up makes me feel energetic and productive, and makes my sleep cycle more regular
- Doing my bed in the morning – This makes me feel productive in the mornings, and overall, makes my bedroom look more put together and neater
- Skincare – I believe skincare is very important, as it protects and refreshes my skin. I wash my face with a face wash every morning and night and apply moisturiser/cream
- Having a shower as soon as I get home from school
- Writing down my homework in my school diary
- Blogging
- Writing in my gratitude journal
- Praying to God – I’ve been trying to reconnect with my religion and God, through praying every night before I go to bed
