Vincent Van Gogh once asked, What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?
And it got me thinking…
Well, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I would be living my life on repeat, not being brave enough to do anything. I wouldn’t be making decisions that scare me, and I definitely wouldn’t be learning from anything. I would have never talked to the people I love the most, I would have never met the guy who showed me the beautiful side of love and that it’s okay to try again.
Life would just be dull and boring. I imagine myself not doing anything, and sitting there wondering why I was here in the first place. I would be scared to change and try new things, stopping myself from growing as an individual and bottling up all my feelings because I wouldn’t be brave enough to be honest about them.
Life wouldn’t be life at all…
Now I pose the same question to you. What would life be if you had no courage to attempt anything? Maybe you’re taking risks, but it isn’t enough. What things would you want to try if you had the courage to do so?
