Happy 15th birthday Yishunyy!! You’re one of the only people who actually read my blog so I know for a fact that you will end up reading this LMAO.
I first “met” you in Year 7, after Asmi started sitting with my group after you guys had a bicker about something. I didn’t really know you that well then, but I got to know you more in Year 8 and especially in Year 9. It seems unreal to me how fast our relationship has progressed and grown since then; you’ve become one of the most meaningful people in my life and I can’t thank you enough for being by my side.
In the short 3 years I’ve known you, I’ve learnt so much about you. I’ve seen you with long hair, I’ve seen you with shorter hair. I’ve seen you cry, I’ve seen you smile. I’ve heard your music taste, and you’ve definitely heard mine ;). I’ve seen your art – and what amazing art at that! Bro you’re so talented, and I’m still so shook at what you drew for my birthday. I’ve even read bits of your poetry/writing, and OH MA GOD why is it so good???
We’ve shared so many moments together. From playing handball together since Year 9(?), to doing our bro handshake everyday, I cherish every moment we have together. You’re one of the kindest, funniest and most real person I’ve ever met, and omg your hugs are top tier >>>>> Like a teddy bear ajkshfashfahsfha. I love watching you start beef with Mr Shelley during graphic tech, I love walking (okay, more like speed walking!) to the train station in the afternoons, and I especially love just joking around with you during school.
Thank you for everything Yishun. For every hug, for every handshake, for every BL recommendation. Thank you for being such an amazing and supportive best friend, for being there for me when I was sad, and for being one of the reasons I continue to smile and laugh every day. Thank you for supporting me no matter what, for accepting me and consoling me at my worst, and for listening to me rant about my obsessions with fluffy haired boys, 2D characters, and plushies.
