I’ve really been burning myself out this past week, throwing myself into school and extra curricular activities. This has caused me to feel more drained than usual, tired, unmotivated and sad, and I haven’t been taking any time to myself to heal and repair myself. Here are some self care ideas I want to try out this weekend in preparation for a new week of school! Remember to always take some time to yourself, and do something that makesĀ you feel happy and confident in yourself!
- Give yourself a pedicure or manicure
- Read a book for an hour
- Listen and vibe to music
- Take a long a$$ shower, and turn on some music while you’re in there
- Go on a walk at the beach at sunset
- Watch your favourite show without the feeling of guilt
- Take a nap
- Look at the stars
- Buy yourself your favourite drink or sweet treat
- Try out a new hobby
- Do yoga/meditation
- Sing at the top of your lungs
- Wear an outfit that makes you feel like the most happiest, confident and powerful person ever!
- Declutter your house
- Bake a dessert
- Watch the sunrise/sunset
- Write a list of 10 things that you are grateful for and why
- Text/Talk/Write to an old friend
- Say no
- Facetime your friends
- Do Buzzfeed quizes
- Wash your hair
- Put a face mask on
- Have a photoshoot!
- Go through old photos
- Write poetry or a story
- Breathe
- Drink water
- Use a jade roller

- Make a spotify playlist with all your favourite vibes
- Scroll through Pinterest and make a board that makes you happy
