What did I learn this week?
This week, I redefined my thinking about the past and the future. I started to become more excited for the future, rather than nervous or worried. I also started to accept my past, my regrets and my mistakes, and I realised that because I can’ t do anything to change them, there’s no point worrying about them anymore.
What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
Over the past week, I would say my greatest accomplishment was that I was more honest with myself, and instead of beating myself up on my “off-days,” I tried to fill up my time by doing little things such as cleaning my room, and self-care, such as having a hot shower.
Which moment from this week was the most memorable and why?
I particularly enjoyed watching Squid Game with my mum this week, as it was nice to spend time with her and relax. We both are usually very busy, and so, it was really memorable that we could actually sit down and spend time with each other.
What can I do right now to make the week less stressful?
Term 4 starts on Tuesday, and I already have 6 assessments that are due in the first 4 weeks or so. I already know that I’m going to be stressed out, but I think by managing my tasks effectively, and working on everything in small chunks, I will be able to reduce the amount of stress.
What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week?
Unproductivity. This week I really struggled as I kept procrastinating my work and being unproductive. As my assessments quickly pile up, I know for a fact that I’m going to procrastinate on things I don’t want to do (ehem maths). I also know that I’m going to struggle getting back into the swing of things, later on in the term when we go back to school, so I really want to use the time I have at home to work on a routine and find a way to balance all the things on my plate.
